After a long dry spell some welcome rain fell during last Wednesday night, saving me from having to water my pots of flowers and vegetables. The following morning I was practising my Qi Gong routine in the Kitchen Courtyard when I spotted these droplets glinting on my Valentine rose bush and snapped them to illustrate this week’s ‘Nurturng’ post. I’m delighted with the result ~ you can even see the silhouette of our house reflected in them!
Nature does provide everything, no thanks required!

Stunning picture and wise words. There really is truth to taking time to “stop and smell (or photograph) the flowers”! ๐
Thank you Corina and thank heavens for smartphones ~ they make capturing the moment (and the feeling that goes with it) so easy! ๐
I am trying to remember “we are exactly where we are suppose to be”!
Wonderful reminder ~~ โค
Thank you Becca. It’s so easy to forget that ‘all is in divine order’and that all we have to do is be grateful for the simple beauty surrounding us every day.๐
Yes, appreciating the beauty is thanks enough!
It is, Meg ~ I do love my garden! ๐
That’s a nice picture. It came out very well. ๐
Thank you ~ I was pleased with the way it turned out! ๐
Gorgeous. I can actually SMELL those roses!
Thank you Pam ~ I couldn’t really see what I was doing as I snapped it on my old iPhone, so I was really happy when I saw how well it had come out! ๐
Thank you so much for your lovely comment on my comment on Becca’s NT post. Blogger’s a funny beast – wish I knew why some folk can comment no problem, and others can’t
Anyway, I’ve just posted more pics of our new home on a new(ish) blog, if you want to visit ๐ Lovely to be online!!
