I’ve been suffering from splitting headaches, recently ~ it transpires that my eyesight has worsened. So, until my new prescription specs arrive, I’m banned from staring at a computer screen.
Over on my other blog Tao of Scrumble I’ve been running a ‘Virtual Open Studio’ series of my man’s artwork and have collated all the images onto a Pinterest board, entitled ‘Amazing Artwork by Martin King.’ If you’d like to view it please follow this link:

I hope to be back to 20/20 status soon ~ please accept my apologies for not posting or answering your much appreciated comments.
Missing you already! 😦
A workman has been here all day, fencing our front garden. It’s been my job to keep him hydrated, to supply kitchen scissors and bits of string and to make important decisions. I haven’t been able to concentrate, so I’ve nothing prepared for Occupy Blogosphere Thursday.
Still, it’s almost done now ~ apart from the posts, which are towering above the feather~edge panels and need to be cut down to size. Oh, and the arch across the entrance, over which I’ll train roses and honeysuckle, with solar fairy lights wound through them.
After seven years of looking at an untidy hedge, bowed down in the winter by snow, we now have clearly defined boundaries and gates instead of a gap. It feels different ~ smarter and somehow ‘grown up’.
Now that the thick hedge has been uprooted, we can see the extent of the plot and it’s a little more generous than we imagined. I’m planning to fill the extra space with plants in pots and quirky garden ornaments for our grandchildren to discover.
It’s too late to take a photograph now, so here’s one I took much earlier, with the frondy monstrosity that used to be the hedge, at the end.
The Occupy Blogosphere movement was started by Amy, author of Souldipper’s Blog, to light up the Blogosphere with a shot of positive energy, each week. To read her most recent post ~ and for more information on how to join in ~ please click here: http://souldipper.wordpress.com
